Suppliers
Use Suppliers to keep your supplier records: who to contact, how to reach them, and how long their payment terms are. Supplier records are used in Purchase Orders and Stock In.
The Suppliers page is available on every plan. Cashiers can only view the supplier list; they can't add, edit, or delete suppliers.

Payment terms
The payment terms are copied onto every new purchase order for this supplier. When goods are received for the first time, Etalasse sets the PO's due date to the receiving date plus the terms. Example: 30-day terms and goods arriving on October 12 give a due date of November 11. Changing a supplier's terms doesn't change POs that already exist.
What this page includes
The supplier table shows each supplier's name, description, and contact, with search by name and Detail, Edit, and Delete row actions. A supplier's detail page shows the POs for that supplier and how much is still owed.
Deleting a supplier
Deleting a supplier doesn't delete its POs. Old POs keep the supplier name as it was when they were created. A deleted supplier can't be picked for a new PO.
Typical workflow
- add a supplier with Add Supplier, with contact details and payment terms
- pick that supplier when you create a purchase order or record Stock In
- update the contact details and terms when they change
Good supplier data habits
- fill in the contact person and phone so a PO can be sent straight over WhatsApp
- fill in the payment terms so payable due dates are calculated automatically
- avoid duplicate supplier records
