Getting Started
Use this page when setting up the merchant back office for the first time.
Access prerequisites
Before starting configuration, make sure the operator can:
- sign in to the dashboard
- recover the account if the password is lost
- access the correct shop or branch context
Recommended setup sequence
- review the dashboard home after login
- complete the shop profile
- create product categories
- add products
- configure payment methods
- configure shipping options if needed
- review customer-facing surface configuration
The shop setup checklist card
This card arrives with this release. It may look slightly different from the description below.
On the dashboard home, new shops see a Get your shop ready card. It lists the steps to finish before the shop is ready to sell:
| Step | Done when |
|---|---|
| Shop profile | The shop profile has a logo and a phone number |
| First product | You've added at least one product |
| Payment method | At least one payment method is set up |
| Shipping option | At least one shipping option is set up. This step only appears for Retail shops |
| Share your shop link | You've shared your shop link with customers |
| First order | Your shop has received its first order |
You don't need to tick anything. Each step ticks itself once it's done, so the card also shows what is still missing.
When you no longer need it, you can hide the card from the home page. A hidden card can now be shown again at any time, so you never lose track of the steps still left to do.
First session expectations
The first authenticated session should help the merchant answer three questions quickly:
- is the account in the correct shop context
- are the business summary cards loading correctly
- what setup work is still missing before launch
If the dashboard home looks incomplete or empty, continue with the setup sequence before testing live selling flows.
First-day priority pages
Common mistakes to avoid
- adding many products before categories are planned
- enabling public selling before testing payment setup
- forgetting to verify stock behavior
- skipping a full internal order test
- not checking whether the operator is inside the right shop or branch after login
