Overview
Etalasse POS supports in-person selling and fast order entry. It is designed for cashier workflows, store counters, events, and merchant teams that need to complete orders quickly.
What POS is for
- creating orders quickly
- serving walk-in or assisted customers
- reviewing order details during checkout
- completing cashier-friendly payment flows
Who should use it
- cashier teams
- store staff
- event sales teams
- merchant staff handling direct order entry
Core POS responsibilities
POS is the fastest Etalasse surface for:
- building assisted orders
- checking totals before payment
- completing payment in a cashier-friendly flow
- reopening recent orders for follow-up or verification
How POS fits into the wider system
POS is not isolated from the rest of Etalasse. A completed cashier flow should still connect back to:
- product and pricing setup in Dashboard
- sales review after checkout
- stock behavior if inventory tracking is enabled
This makes POS especially useful for merchants operating both direct service and broader operational reporting.
