When a plan drops

The kitchen keeps running mid-service. All reads, the KDS, and sale-time ticket firing are never gated for shops that already have active stations. Only creating or editing stations and routing is lost; the Dashboard shows a plan-limit message and an upgrade offer.

FAQ

Are stations required?

No. Without active stations nothing changes: the old Kitchen Display and order flow stay as before.

Does the kitchen change the order status?

Never. Once all items are Served, the POS only offers a Mark delivered button. See relation to order status.

Why has an online order not reached the kitchen?

Online orders are only sent to the kitchen once Paid. Table and till orders appear as soon as they are created.

An item shows on no station.

Check whether a Does not go to the kitchen rule is set on its product or category, and use the routing checker.

Does void reduce the bill?

No. Void only means the kitchen will not make it. Edit the bill or refund separately.

I cannot delete a station.

It still has tickets that are not yet Served. Finish those tickets, or deactivate the station.

I deactivated a station. Does the food disappear?

No. Items whose route points to an inactive station fall to the next routing level, finally to the default station.

What if something fails while creating tickets?

The order carries on without tickets; the error does not fail the sale. The tickets can be sent again later, and items that already have a ticket are not duplicated.

Two cooks tap the same tile at the same time.

Only one transition happens; no step is skipped.

Can older POS builds still be used?

Yes. The old KDS keeps working on order status. The only difference is an extra refresh when the kitchen bumps.
