Wording on Your Storefront
The storefront uses general words such as seller, service, and address. If your business has its own terms, for example "Partner", "Package", or "Location", you can replace them without changing how anything works.
This applies to every shop type and is optional. An empty field means the storefront uses its default word.
Three terms
Open Shop Config, the Wording on your storefront card, and fill in:
| Field | Replaces the word | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| What you call a seller | "seller" | Partner, Artisan, Provider |
| What you call a service or product | "service" / "product" | Package, Program, Job |
| What you call an address or location | "address" / "location" | Location, Service point |
Filling rules:
- at most 40 characters
- plain text: HTML tags and invisible characters are removed and extra spaces are tidied
- clear the field to go back to the default word
- the field placeholder shows the default word
The Preview on the storefront part of the same card shows the result on a seller page, product card, product page, and checkout before you save.
Where the terms appear
- Customer storefront: wherever the default word would appear (seller pages, the seller directory, the Become a Seller button, the address step at checkout, and so on), your term is shown when set
- The Dashboard keeps its own default words, so menus and guides stay the same for every merchant
The terms change display only. No data, setting, or integration changes, and they do not rename the Sellers menu in the Dashboard.
