Review your first dashboard session
Use this guide immediately after the first successful login to make sure the merchant account is ready for setup work.
What to verify first
Before editing products or enabling sales, confirm:
- you are signed in to the correct account
- the active shop or branch context is correct
- the dashboard home loads without missing summary cards or broken widgets
- you know which setup work is still unfinished
First-session review flow
1. Confirm the dashboard home loads correctly
The dashboard home is the main landing page after login. It should give a quick operational view with sales and activity summaries.
If this page does not load correctly, resolve the access or data issue before continuing with detailed setup.
2. Check the merchant context
Make sure the visible shop identity matches the business you intend to operate. This is especially important for teams handling more than one branch or merchant context.
3. Review whether core configuration is still missing
New merchants usually still need to complete:
- shop profile
- product categories
- products
- payment methods
- shipping or fulfillment settings
4. Open shop profile and complete business identity
Update the merchant name, branding, and contact details so internal operations and customer-facing surfaces stay aligned.
5. Decide the first live sales channel
Choose whether the first active workflow will be:
- POS for assisted or in-person transactions
- Catalog for a fuller storefront experience
- Link for a lighter shareable selling flow
Signs the account is ready for next-step setup
- the dashboard home loads normally
- the merchant identity is correct
- the team knows which pages must be configured next
- a first sales channel has been chosen
