Your first campaign in Marketing Center
Use this guide to run your first marketing campaign from start to evaluation — all from the Marketing Center.
This guide focuses on the flow of one first campaign. For the broader growth strategy picture (banners, coupons, flash sales, and rewards), see Run growth campaigns.
First campaign flow
1. Define the campaign goal
Pick one clear goal: first-time buyers, repeat purchases, or moving specific stock. One campaign with one goal is easier to measure than a campaign that tries everything at once.
2. Create the campaign
Open the Marketing Center and create a new campaign. Campaigns have a clear lifecycle — from draft, to running, to finished — and can make use of the banners, coupons, flash sales, blogs, and shop links you have already set up.
3. Draft the content in Content Studio
Use Content Studio to build promotional material from the available templates. Use the AI assistance for captions and promotional copy — AI-generated content can always be edited and should be reviewed before use.
4. Schedule through the Content Calendar
Place the content in the Content Calendar so the posting schedule is planned and the team gets reminders. Mark content as posted to keep the calendar tidy.
5. Share through tracked links and WhatsApp
Create a tracked link for the campaign — complete with a QR code for printed material and UTM parameters to measure traffic sources. Add a WhatsApp click-to-chat link so customers can reach your shop with one tap.
6. Monitor analytics and run an A/B test
While the campaign runs, review performance analytics in the Marketing Center Overview. Use an A/B test to compare two content variants, then keep the variant that performs better. Data can be exported to CSV when needed.
7. Evaluate with the Promotion Report
After the campaign ends, open the Promotion Report in Reports to judge whether the campaign actually drove sales — not just clicks. Use those findings as the basis for the next campaign.
First campaign checklist
- the campaign goal is singular and measurable
- content is reviewed before it is scheduled
- every shared link uses a tracked link
- analytics are monitored while the campaign runs, not only at the end
- the Promotion Report is reviewed after the campaign ends
