Connect other AI apps

Besides Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini, your Etalasse shop can be connected to other AI apps that support MCP, such as Cursor, VS Code and Codex. This page shows how to add it.

What you need

  • the owner account of an Etalasse shop (staff accounts can't connect apps)
  • a shop on the Growth plan or higher
  • an AI app that supports remote MCP servers (Streamable HTTP) with OAuth sign-in

The server URL for every app:

https://mcp.etalasse.com/mcp

Sign in and allow

Signing in works the same in all the apps below:

  1. The app opens your browser at the Etalasse Dashboard's Connect an AI app page.
  2. If you're already signed in to the Dashboard, check the shop name and email, then tap Allow. If not, sign in as usual (email, Google, or 2FA when it's on) and you come back to this page. Want a different account? Tap Use another account.
  3. With 2FA on, enter the code from your authenticator app before tapping Allow.
  4. The browser sends you back to the app, and Etalasse is ready to use.

Cursor

Add this to ~/.cursor/mcp.json (for every project) or .cursor/mcp.json in a project folder:

{
"mcpServers": {
"etalasse": {
"url": "https://mcp.etalasse.com/mcp"
}
}
}

Cursor supports OAuth for remote servers. When the etalasse server shows up in Cursor's MCP list, sign in from there and finish the steps above.

VS Code

Run MCP: Add Server from the Command Palette, choose HTTP (HTTP or Server-Sent Events), enter https://mcp.etalasse.com/mcp, and name it etalasse.

You can also use a .vscode/mcp.json file in a project folder:

{
"servers": {
"etalasse": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://mcp.etalasse.com/mcp"
}
}
}

The first time the server is used, VS Code asks you to sign in and opens your browser. Finish the steps above. The Etalasse tools are then available in Copilot Chat.

Codex

In Codex CLI:

codex mcp add etalasse --url https://mcp.etalasse.com/mcp
codex mcp login etalasse

Or write it in ~/.codex/config.toml, then run codex mcp login etalasse:

[mcp_servers.etalasse]
url = "https://mcp.etalasse.com/mcp"

In the Codex desktop app and IDE extension, add the server as Streamable HTTP in the MCP settings, then choose Authenticate. They share their configuration with Codex CLI.

Any other MCP app

Other apps can connect if they support:

  • remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP
  • OAuth sign-in with PKCE, plus automatic client registration (dynamic client registration or a Client ID Metadata Document)

Enter https://mcp.etalasse.com/mcp. The app finds the OAuth settings on its own from the server. Technical details are in OAuth Setup.

Apps that can only use a manually entered Client ID and Client Secret can't connect on their own yet. Contact the Etalasse team if you need this.

What it can do

  • read orders, products, stock, customers, bookings, promotions and sales reports
  • make changes when you ask, such as stock, prices, order status, products, categories and promotions

What this connection can't do:

  • see or change your password
  • issue refunds, withdraw your balance, pay sellers or pay for a subscription. These stay in the Dashboard.
  • act as a shopper in your online store

Every action applies only to the shop of the account you allowed.

Disconnect

Open Settings › Access Tokens in the Dashboard and revoke that app's token. Its name follows the app's name and ends in (connector). The app loses access right away. Also remove the etalasse server from the app's MCP settings.

Data and privacy

The AI app only receives the shop data asked for in the conversation, through the tools you allowed. Etalasse doesn't read your conversation history in that app. The full details are in the Privacy Policy, in the section on AI apps you connect.
